The Venue
Your accommodation for the duration of your experience is Gilmerton House: a private Georgian mansion in the heart of East Lothian.
What’s Included
The Grand Deception is a completely customisable experience, bespoke to each group that participates.
Standard inclusions are:
Exclusive hire of Gilmerton House, including the grounds;
Two or three nights accommodation in 10 bedrooms (sleeping 20 guests);
The Grand Deception experience with an expert host;
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on each day of your stay;
And, a live singer on the final evening.
Additional activities, such as a private chef, clay pigeon shooting, archery, or full event filming, can be included at an additional cost.
And if you have your own ideas, do share them with us. No request is too grand in this game…
Meet Your Host
Your enigmatic host throughout The Grand Deception is Jordan; a bonafide superfan of all things Traitors.
A passionate gameshow fan and deeply competitive by nature, the deception, strategy, and shocking twists had Jordan hooked from the very first episode. Between the series airing on TV – and sending off his own applications to participate – he decided to start running themed events for his friends.
These events were such a hit that Jordan realised that, even though he hasn’t made it on the small screen yet (although never say never…) he can create his own game for groups to come and play.
With Jordan in charge, you can rest assured your Grand Deception experience will be completely immersive, bespoke, and full of surprises you could never see coming.

What you need to know…
The minimum number of participants is 10.
The maximum number of players is 20.
The Grand Deception is a closed group experience. In order to participate, you must book a minimum of 10 spaces for your date to go ahead.
You will be interviewed by your host prior to selection to discuss the role you want to play in the game. The group will then be gathered and blindfolded for the selection of the traitors.
The game continues! Banished and murdered players cannot take part in the roundtable discussions or vote during future banishments, but they can still take part in every mission and activity.
